Upload 360° Photos

With Cupix Connect, you can upload captures taken with the Capture App. Having already uploaded your Capture Data in the Capture App, here is the process:

1. Click on Upload 360° Photos.

2. Choose your method:

  • Use 360° Camera if you'd like to upload directly from the camera using a USB cable to computer connection.
  • Use Folder if you'd like to transfer photos with:
    • Camera connected to the computer with an USB cable.
    • MicroSD card connected to the computer.
    • Copy the photos to the computer first, then upload from that folder. 

Depending on which 360 Camera you use, you have different options for uploading photos:

RICOH THETA Z1

  • 360° Camera
    • Automatically scans the camera for 360° photos.
  • Folder
    • * = NOTE: you cannot select the folder that contains the photos from the Z1 itself. You have to copy the photos onto the computer using a USB cable, and then choose that folder for uploading.


Mi Sphere and MADV/ Insta360 One X/ Insta360 One R 360 (Not 4K version!)

  • 360° Camera
    • Automatically scans the camera for 360° photos.
  • Folder 
    • Via Camera USB to computer. Select folder that contains the photos.
    • Via microSD card connected to the computer.


3. Here are the steps for using 360° Camera and Folder.

- 360° Camera

       1. Click on 360° Camera.

The screen will show the process of confirming the Capture Data with the photos on the camera.

       2. Once the processing is done, a list of all photos ready for uploading will be listed. Click on the Upload button.

The screen will show the process of uploading the photos to the CupixWorks web platform server.

        3. Once all the photos are uploaded, a message will appear confirming the upload as completed. Click on the Got it! button to finish.


- Folder:

       1. Click on Folder.

       2. Click on the Select button.

       3. Navigate to the folder that has your photos in it, and click on Select Folder.

       4. Click on the Next button.

The screen will show the process of uploading the photos to the CupixWorks web platform server.

        5. Once the processing is done, a list of all photos ready for uploading will be listed. Click on the Upload button.

The screen will show the process of uploading the photos to the CupixWorks web platform server.

       6. Once all the photos are uploaded, a message will appear confirming the upload as completed. Click on the Got it! button to finish.
