Introduction
SiteView Bookmarks
Make setup easy and start important work quickly. With just one click, you can load your custom project views, helping teams jump right into their tasks, run smooth meetings, pass on work easily, and keep the project on track. Bookmarks save everything— like layouts, annotations, & viewers — so you can pick up exactly where you left off. You can create Personal Bookmarks (limited to your own use) or Team Bookmarks for easy sharing and working together, making complex tasks simpler for everyone.
Note: Users with the SiteView Observer role cannot create or access Bookmarks. All other roles can.
Beyond Construction
Bookmarks also improve facility and asset management. They make keeping track of documents easier, organizing maintenance tasks, and getting familiar with a site virtually. You can easily create and share bookmarks for important equipment locations, key assets, or standard inspection routes, making managing facilities and training new staff simpler.
Use Cases
- Collection of Layouts: Bookmarks can be organized under personal and team lists, making it easy to share and access project layouts. Personal bookmarks let team members save their preferred settings, while team bookmarks ensure everyone stays aligned. This system streamlines access to specific views, reducing search time and boosting workflow efficiency.
- Launching Workflows: Bookmarks allow quick launch of critical workflows, like setting up specific configurations for meetings. With one click, the team accesses the exact project state needed, complete with views, data, and annotations, saving time and ensuring everyone is aligned for productive meetings.
- Issue and Task Management: Used with annotations, bookmarks enhance tracking issues, problem-solving, and task management. They link directly to specific issues in the BIM model and relevant annotations, making it easier to find and address problems, and improving workflow efficiency.
These use cases show how Cupix Bookmarks can enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and improve project management.
