Form Templates

Introduction
Form Templates allow team members to document site changes with Annotations in SiteView. You can use Form Templates to create annotations (RFIs, To Do Lists, Notes, etc.) with highly customizable fields.
Create a New Form Template
To add a new form template:
- In Project Admin Center, click on Settings -> Settings at the top right of the screen.
- Click on Form Templates .
- Click on New Form.
(Note: The Form Editor lets you insert field options on the left, view the form mockup in the center, and change form properties on the right.)
- In the Form Editor, click fields under the Insert Field menu to add them to the form mockup in the center.
- Click any field in the form mockup to edit the field properties in the right menu.
- Click and drag the fields (using the six dot icon on the right) in the form mockup to rearrange the order.
- Click Preview to view how the form will look in SiteView Annotations.
- Click on Create & Save.
Edit a Form Template
To edit a Form Template:
- In Project Admin Center, click on Settings -> Settings at the top right of the screen.
- Click on Form Templates .
- Select a form, then click on the Open button on the right.
- Add, remove, and edit fields as needed.
- Click on Preview to see how the form will look in SiteView.
- Click on Save to update the form.
Import Form Template
In addition to creating new Form Templates, you can also import JSON files to create new ones.
To import a JSON file to create a new Form Template:
- In Project Admin Center, click on Settings -> Settings at the top right of the screen.
- Click on Form Templates .
- Click on New Form.
- Click on Import.
- Select the JSON file that contains the Form Template, then click on Open.
- Use options within the Form Editor to make changes or add new fields.
- Click on Save.
Export Form Template
You can also export Form Templates as JSON files.
To export a Form Template as a JSON file:
- In Project Admin Center, click on Settings -> Settings at the top right of the screen.
- Click on Form Templates .
- Select a form, then click on the Open button on the right.
- Click on Export. The file will be placed into your computer's default download folder.
