Connect to Camera WiFi Network
Connect Camera to iOS Mobile Device
- On your mobile device, access Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Select the Insta360 ONE X2 WiFi SSID. (For example, ONE X2 7VMF4Q.OSC is an SSID.)
- Enter the password. The default password is '88888888' (eight 8's).
- Confirm that the camera WiFi network is connected.

Connect Camera to Android Mobile Device
- On your mobile device, access Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
- Select the Insta360 ONE X2 WiFi SSID. (For example, ONE X2 7VMF4Q.OSC is an SSID.)

Change Camera USB Mode
Instructions
The camera's USB Mode defaults to Android and might also be reset to Android after a firmware update, so it won't be found by a Windows/ MAC computer when using the Connect App to upload image files. To fix this:
- Touch the screen and swipe down
- Swipe left.
- Tap on the gear icon (Settings)
in the lower left.
- Tap on General.
- Tap on USB Mode.
- Change it to Desktop Mode by tapping on it.
- Swipe right three times, then swipe up to return to the home screen.

On the home screen of the camera, swipe from the right side to the left side to confirm or make these changes:
- Image = JPG
- ISO & Shutter = Auto
- EV = 0
- WB = Auto

Tip #3 - Keep the Camera Powered On
To keep the camera from automatically powering off:
- Tap on the home screen until the options appear.
- Swipe down.
- Swipe left.
- Tap on the gear icon (Settings)
in the lower right.
- Tap on General.
- Swipe up to Auto Power Off and tap on it.
- Change it to Never by tapping on it.
- Swipe right three times, then swipe up to return to the home screen.
Tip #4 - Keep the Touch Screen On
To keep the camera touch screen from turning off:
- Tap on the home screen until the options appear.
- Swipe down.
- Swipe left.
- Tap on the gear icon (Settings)
in the lower right.
- Swipe up to Screen Auto Sleep and tap on it.
- Tap on Timer.
- Change it to Never by tapping on it.
- Swipe right three times, then swipe up to return to the home screen.
Tip #5 - Turn the Touch Screen On/Off
To turn the touch screen on and off, hit the power button once.
Tip #6 - Lock/Unlock the Touch Screen
Lock the camera touch screen to avoid accidentally changing the settings:
- In the camera's touch screen, swipe down to change the settings.
- Tap on the lock symbol in the upper right. The touch screen is now locked.
To unlock the screen, tap on the touch screen and swipe the lock symbol up.
