Team Profile Settings

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Introduction

Team Profile Settings settings provide team administrators control over general settings for the CupixWorks platform. Options include logos, default units and language, MFA options, and allowed captured methods in the TwinCapture App.

Logo and Team Name

Choose your logo and team name. The logo and team name are displayed in various areas of the CupixWorks system including SiteView, Project Admin Center, TwinCapture App, and Login Screens.

Default Units and Default Language

Default Unit Options:

Set the default units for length and area here between imperial and metric.  Length unit options include imperial options: feet ("ft"), inches ("in"), feet and inches notation (ft' in"), and metric options: meters (m), centimeters (cm), and millimeters (mm).

NOTE: Changing Units for a Specific Project: If you need to change the units for a specific project, a project administrator can do this on the specific project's Project Setup page.

Default Language Options:

Language support includes English, Korean, and Japanese. Each language is displayed throughout the CupixWorks platform including SIteView, Project Admin Center, and TwinCapture App.  Language preferences can be changed by an individual user (e.g.: user can change their language to meet their own preference) in their personal settings.

NOTE: OmniNotes supports automatic transcription of voice and recognition of multiple languages. OmniNotes transcription and text recognition behavior are independent of the system language options here.

Allowed Capture Methods in the TwinCapture App

Choose one or more allowed capture methods that the TwinCapture will support.  These are the default settings that will be initialized for any new project created in CupixWorks. Options for allowing or disallowing capture methods include: 3D Map, 360 Virtual Tour, and 360 Photo capture methods.

Changing Allowed Capture Methods for a Specific Project

If you need to change the allowed Capture Methods for a specific project, a project administrator can do this in the specific project's Project Setup Allowed Capture Methods page.

Two Step Verification (MFA)

Control if each time a user signs into your Cupix team account using email and password, they’ll also need to verify their account with a verification code that’s sent to their email.

NOTE: SSO (single sign-on) is also offered for Cupix accounts. Contact Cupix for more information on SSO options for your team.

Enable Self-Service Signup to Automatic Grant User Account

This option will allow anyone with an email domain you specific to automatically be granted a user account on your CupixWorks team on request. For example, if you are ACME and want any new user with the email domain "[email protected]" then you can enable Self-Service Signup so that any user with an email @acme.com will immediately be granted access to your account.

NOTE: This option will not automatically grant access to projects. If you want to automatically grant access to a project this can be achieved through Groups and Group Permissions which follow a similar type of control.
