Introduction
CupixConnect is a desktop application that enables you to transfer large site data between your local computer and the CupixWorks platform. It works on both Windows and macOS and provides a reliable way to handle uploads and downloads that may exceed browser limitations.
With CupixConnect, you can:
- Upload 360° photos and videos captured with the TwinCapture mobile app.
- Upload reality capture data such as point clouds and meshes.
- Download SiteView content for offline viewing.
- Download pano images with geocoordinates in GeoJSON format (Beta) for use in GIS tools.
Note: The current version of CupixConnect is 2026.1.3 (as of April 10th, 2026)
Download and Install CupixConnect
Download the latest version from the Cupix Downloads Page.
- Select the installer for your operating system (Windows or macOS).
- Open the installer from your Downloads folder.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
Sign in to CupixConnect
When you launch CupixConnect, the sign-in window appears.
- Click Sign In to open the CupixWorks sign-in page in your browser.
- Select your server region and enter your team URL.
- Complete the sign-in process in your browser, then click Open CupixConnect to return to the desktop app.
Features and Options in CupixConnect
Upload Features
CupixConnect supports two main types of uploads:

360° Files – Upload 360° videos or photos captured with TwinCapture mobile app.

Reality Capture – Upload point cloud or mesh data from 3D scanners. (Supported formats:
.LAS,.LAZ,.PLY,.PTS,.XYZ,.E57,.RCS,.RCP,.OBJ,.GLTF)Note: This feature is available for projects with a Unified license. For more details, refer to the Upload Reality Captures article.

Drone Photos (Beta) – Upload drone photos to generate an aerial map for use with SkyMap in SiteView. (Supported formats:

Download Features
CupixConnect provides a download feature to access SiteView data offline.
Note: This feature appears only when enabled; contact your CSM to activate it for your team.

Download SiteView Content – Export SiteView data for offline viewing.
- Files include the
.cpxsvproject file, pano images, floorplan images, and related assets. - Keep all files together in the same folder to view them properly in the Offline Viewer.

Download GeoJSON (Beta) – Export pano images in SiteView with their geocoordinates as a GeoJSON file for use in GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
Note: This feature is available for georeferenced projects with a Unified license. For more details, refer to the Download GeoJSON File article.
Options
- History – View past transfers, resume incomplete uploads or downloads, and check their status.
- Settings – Configure download and cache folder locations, and select the application language.
