Introduction
Cupix Reporter is a Chrome extension that lets internal teams file an issue, a question, or a suggestion from inside the CupixWorks page they are looking at. The extension opens as a side panel next to the page, collects the page context and any screenshot or recording you attach, and files the result as a Product Signal in Prism Touchpoint, where you can follow what happens to it.
Use it instead of describing a problem from memory in Slack: the report carries the URL, the browser information, the collected console and network errors, and the customer team and project the page belongs to.
Note: The Chrome Web Store listing is restricted to the Cupix organization, so you must be signed in to Chrome with your Cupix account to see and install it.
Before You Start
- Use Google Chrome, signed in with your Cupix account.
- Be signed in to CupixWorks. The extension is active only on a .cupix.works or .prism.cupix.com page in a signed-in session; on any other page it has nothing to report on.
- Open the page you want to report on before you open the panel. The report is filed against the page that is in front of you.
Install Cupix Reporter
- Open the Cupix Reporter listing in the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome, then confirm the permission prompt.
The listing shows This item is only available to users in your organization. If you see a 404 instead, you are signed in to Chrome with a non-Cupix account.
Note: Pin the extension from the Chrome extensions menu so it stays visible in the toolbar.
Open the Reporter Panel
- Go to the CupixWorks page you want to report on.
- Click the extensions icon in the Chrome toolbar and click Cupix Reporter, or click the pinned Cupix Reporter icon.
The Share feedback panel opens beside the page. The Page block at the top shows the product and the URL the report will be filed against — check it matches the page you mean before you write anything.
Write the Report
Fill in the two fields, attach evidence if you have it, then click Next.
- In Report details (required), describe what the user was trying to do and what happened, or what they asked for. Focus on the problem, not a proposed solution.
- In Background & impact, describe the user's goal or workflow, why it matters, and why it is important to the user and to Cupix.
Important: Keep the panel open until submission is complete. Closing it while an attachment is uploading cancels the upload and clears the form. Use the trash icon next to Next to discard a report on purpose.
Attach a Screenshot or a Recording
- Click Capture screenshot.
- Chrome asks what to share. Choose the current tab, and the capture is attached to the report automatically.
Start recording works the same way if you need to show the problem as it happens rather than as a still image.
The attachment appears under Screen attachments with its file size and a Remove link, so you can replace it before submitting.
Note: A capture or recording of a page that opens in another tab is not included. Report one page per report.
Answer the Intake Agent
After you click Next, an intake agent reads the report and prepares the evidence. The panel shows Preparing evidence... Agent is reviewing... while it works.
If anything is missing, the agent asks for it under Additional information needed. Type your answer and click Send answer. The agent may ask more than once; previous rounds stay available under Previous questions and answers.
- Send answer — answer the question and let the agent continue.
- Continue with current information — skip the question and go to the review step.
- Skip Agent review — go straight to the review step without the agent pass.
- Back — return to the form and edit what you wrote.
Review and Submit
On Ready to submit, the agent presents the report it assembled: a Summary line, your Report details and Background & impact rewritten for clarity, and a collapsible Page and evidence block. Click the pencil icon next to Summary to edit the title.
Set the classification fields, then click Submit report.
- Report type (required) — Issue, Suggestion, or Question.
- Customer scope (required) — Not applicable, Common to multiple teams, or Specific customer team.
- Customer team — the team the page belongs to. Detected from the page; use the swap icon to search for a different team.
- Project — the project the page belongs to. Detected from the page; clear it with the x if the report is not project-specific.
A Report submitted card confirms the report was filed, with its title, the submission time, and a status of SUBMITTED. From here, click View in Prism to open the report in Prism Touchpoint, or Start a new report to file another one.
Track the Report in Prism Touchpoint
Submitted reports arrive on the Product Signals page in Prism Touchpoint, under Product Feedback. The list shows every signal with its summary, type, intake status, urgency, reporter, and creation time, and can be narrowed with the Reporter, Component, Urgency, and Labels filters, or by searching the summary text.
Click a row to open the signal. The detail panel shows its status, the report details, background and impact, and customer scope, plus the Salesforce account link for the customer team, the attachments you captured, and who reported it. That is where you follow what happens to a report after you file it.
What the Report Collects
Every report includes the current URL, the browser information, and the console and network errors collected on the page. Your text, screenshots, recording frames, and microphone transcript may be processed by the configured model provider. Don't capture a screen that shows credentials or customer data you would not put in a ticket.
