Introduction
We strongly recommend using the TwinCapture App or CupixConnect to upload your 360° image files.
If you are unable to use either of these tools, you can manually upload image files through the Project Admin Center. This article explains how to manually upload image files when:
- The capture data has already been uploaded, but the image files were not, or
- Create a new capture by uploading 360° image files only (when no capture data exists).
Note: This feature is available to users with Project Member or higher permissions.

Browser Requirements
- We recommend using Google Chrome for uploading image files in the Project Admin Center.
- Keep the browser tab active and visible until all uploads are complete. Do not close or refresh the tab during upload — this will interrupt the process.
- Ensure your internet connection is stable throughout the upload.
Note: For troubleshooting tips, refer to FAQ: Upload Process and Common Issues.
How to Upload
- Connect your camera or SD card to the computer using a USB cable, SD card reader, or card slot.
Note:
- If using a camera, ensure the microSD card is inserted, then connect it to the computer with a USB cable. (Turn on the camera and set the USB mode to File Transfer.)
- If using an external reader or adapter, insert the microSD card before connecting it to the computer.
- You can also insert the microSD card directly into the computer’s built-in card reader if available.
- Open the Project Admin Center of the project where you want to upload the files, and go to the Captures tab.
You can upload 360° image files in two ways:
- TwinCapture Upload – Use this when the capture data has already been uploaded, but the image files are missing.
-
Upload 360° Files – Use this when the capture data could not be uploaded or does not exist.
Note: Use this method only when instructed by your CSM, as missing capture data may delay or prevent the system from processing the image files.
Option 1: Upload When Capture Data Already Exists (TwinCapture Upload)
- Click TwinCapture Upload on the Captures page.
- You’ll see a list of capture dates with files waiting to be uploaded; click a capture date to view the required files.
Click Choose Files at the top right and select the image files to upload.Note:
- To upload files:
- If you copied the files to a folder on your computer, navigate to that folder.
- If the camera is connected with the microSD card inserted, open the camera’s USB drive and go to DCIM → Camera01 (Insta360) or DCIM → 100RICOH (Ricoh).
- If you’re unsure which files are needed, select all files in the folder — the system will automatically detect the required ones.
- You cannot proceed to the next step until the required files are uploaded.
- Once the files are successfully loaded, the status changes to Pending Upload. Click Next, then Done to start uploading.
- When the upload begins, you can monitor its progress in the lower-right corner of the screen.
- When the image file upload is complete, capture processing starts automatically. You can check the processing status by clicking the status icon in the cell for the corresponding date and level in the capture table.
Option 2: Upload 360° Files Only
- In the Captures tab:
- To create a new capture date: Click New Capture at the top of the capture table, select a date and enter a label, then click Save and open it.
- To use an existing capture date: Double-click the date in the capture table.
- Click Upload 360° Files.
- Enter a capture name (or keep the default), select the level, and choose your camera type to upload files from.
Note: For single-shot uploads (up to 300 images), click Upload 360° Photos for Auto-Alignment located below the three video upload options.
- Click Add Files and select the files to upload, then click Next.
Note:
- If you copied the files to a folder on your computer, navigate to that folder.
- If the camera is connected with the microSD card inserted, open the camera’s USB drive and go to DCIM → Camera01 (Insta360) or DCIM → 100RICOH (Ricoh).
- You can create only one Area at a time. Select files based on the following:
- Insta360 X4/X5: 1 INSV (00) per video or 1 INSP per photo
- Insta360 One RS 1-inch or X2: 2 INSV (00 & 10) per video or 1 INSP per photo
- Ricoh: 1 MP4 per video or 1 JPG per photo
- Review the upload information, and click Submit.
- After uploading, contact your CSM to provide the starting position and level for each new Area, as marked on the reference plan. This information is required for accurate pano alignment.
