Introduction
The Plan Viewer in SiteView displays a reference plan that helps you navigate your site quickly and accurately. Pano bubbles, annotations, and other markers appear directly on the plan, allowing you to move to specific locations or review project information in spatial context. The Plan Viewer also supports color filtering of reference plans, enabling you to overlay multiple plans in different colors for easier comparison.
Accessing the Plan Viewer
The Plan Viewer appears as a floating window in the Capture Viewer.
- Show/Hide: Click the minimize icon to hide the viewer. To reopen it, click the
circular icon in the top-left corner.
- Resize: Drag a corner to adjust the window size, or click the
maximize icon to expand it to full screen.
- Switch Plans: If multiple plans are available for the selected level, click the
Reference Plan icon to select which plans to display. You can toggle each plan on or off by clicking the
eye icon.
- Adjust Opacity: Click the
Opacity icon to control the transparency of the displayed plan using the slider.
Navigating with the Plan Viewer
Click a pano bubble or annotation marker on the plan to move directly to that point in the Capture Viewer.
Pano Bubbles: Represent capture points on the plan. Click a bubble to navigate to its location.
Note:
- A
pano bubble with a star indicates where a high-resolution 360° image was captured.
- You can show or hide pano bubbles in the Plan Viewer by clicking the
Pano Bubble icon.
- A
Annotation Markers: Indicate saved annotations. Click a marker to open the annotation and navigate to its location.
Overlaying and Coloring Reference Plans
The Plan Viewer allows you to overlay and color multiple reference plans for integrated visualization.
- Click the
Reference Plan icon in the Plan Viewer, then toggle plan visibility using the
eye icons.
Note:
- Up to five plans can be displayed at once.
- When multiple plans are displayed without color filtering, they are stacked in the viewer according to their order in the list (bottom to top). Drag the
handle to reorder the plans in the list.
- Click the
pencil icon next to a plan name to apply color filtering, which displays only the plan lines with the background removed.
Note:
- You can adjust the opacity of each reference plan and the base plane height for 3D overlay viewing.
- Click Reset to restore the default settings.
Overlay Reference Plans in the Capture Viewer
You can overlay reference plans in the Capture Viewer while navigating in both First-Person Mode and Aerial Mode.
In First-Person Mode
- To overlay reference plans, click the
Show Reference Plan button in the top-right corner of the Capture Viewer, or right-click in the viewer and select Reference Plan.
- Toggle each plan’s visibility using the
eye icons in the floating Plan Viewer.
In Aerial Mode
- Click the
Reference Plan icon in the top-right corner of the Capture Viewer, then toggle each plan’s overlay using the
eye icons.
Note: Click the pencil icon or color indicator next to a plan name to adjust its opacity and the base plane height for 3D overlay viewing.
