Introduction
CupixWorks allows you to enable geocoordinates for your project. Geocoordinates link your internal project coordinates—such as those from a digital map, BIM model, or drone orthomosaic—to precise physical locations on Earth.
This improves accuracy when integrating with survey data, GPS from drones, or Ground Control Points (GCPs). Enabling geocoordinates is also required if you plan to use the GeoJSON Export (beta) feature, which allows Cupix data to be utilized in professional GIS tools.
Note: Geocoordinates are available only for projects with a Unified License.
Enable Geocoordinates in a Project
To configure geocoordinates for your project:
- Open your project and go to Project Setup (Project Admin or higher only).
- Click Configure in the Project Location section.
- Toggle on Use Project Origin Coordinates.
- Enter the following details:
- Address: Type the project’s location (if different from the original project entry).
- WGS 84 (Latitude & Longitude): Optionally enter latitude, longitude, bearing, and altitude.
- Spatial Reference System: Optionally enter the EPSG code of the location.
- Click Save.
Once saved, your geocoordinate settings are applied across the entire project.
