SiteView Layout

Top Menu

The following is a list of the information and options displayed from left to right in the top menu:

  • Team logo
  • "CUPIXWORKS SiteView" + Name of the Project
  • Select Location is where you can view all the published Levels and Rooms in a SiteView.
    • When a SiteView does not have any Rooms, you will see:
      • View all published Levels.
      • Change Levels.
      • Select pano locations for different capture dates.
    • When a SiteView has at least one Room, you can:
      • Search for Rooms sorted by capture date and Level.
      • View all published Levels.
      • Change Levels.
      • Select pano locations that are either near or inside a Room.

    

  • Online Users      will show anyone on your team that is also viewing the SiteView.
  • Manage Viewers  allows you to change the layout of viewers to either a preset or custom look.
  • Help:
    •  Open Help Center will open a new browser tab for viewing SiteView documentation.
    • What's New... will open a small window with the latest product release notes.
  • SiteView Settings  provides project information, as well as preference and integration options for the SiteView.
  • Share  gives you the ability to share the SiteView with different people, depending on the access settings for the SiteView. Administrators can configure a SiteView for either private view or public view in Project Center.
  • User Info is where you can sign in or out of your account or switch Teams as needed. You can also view the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.


Annotations Menu

You can search, view and add Annotations by clicking on the left-side menu tab. The image below shows the tab when the menu is closed:

NOTE: The Annotations menu only appears if there is at least one Annotation Group set up for the Project.

The Annotations menu layout from top to bottom:

  • Search Annotations.
  • Sort by Status or Captures.
  • Annotation Groups with individual Annotations nested inside them.


Preset Layouts

There are now six types of Preset Layouts to choose from:

  • Basic View Layout shows the Main Capture Viewer and Plan Viewer.
  • Timeline Compare Layout shows the Main Capture Viewer, a second Capture Viewer and Plan Viewer.
  • BIM Compare Layout shows the Main Capture Viewer, BIM Viewer and Plan Viewer.
  • App Viewer Layout shows the Main Capture Viewer and Matterport App Viewer.
  • All Viewers Layout shows a total of 4 Viewers at once:
    • Main Capture Viewer
    • A second Capture Viewer
    • Plan Viewer
    • BIM Viewer



Add Viewers

There are five types of Viewers to choose from:

  • Main Capture Viewer (This viewer window cannot be closed or removed.)
  • Capture Viewer
  • Plan Viewer
  • BIM Viewer
  • SiteInsights (This only appears if a SiteInsights Pack license has been purchased.)

Add a Viewer:

        1. Click on the Add Viewers button.

        2. Click on the viewer you want to use.


Open Viewers

There is also a list of currently open Viewers. Here, you can either focus a Viewer in front of the others or close it.


Viewer Frames

There are different options for moving, sizing and closing the frames, depending on the viewer in use. The frame control options appear at the top right of a viewer when you hover over it with the mouse cursor  .

Here are all the options:

  • Maximize  a Viewer to fill the screen or Restore  it back to its original size.
  • Keep Front  pins, or unpins, a Viewer in front of others.
  • Close  a Viewer.
  • To move a Viewer, hover the mouse cursor over its menu bar. Left-click when you see the  (4-way arrow) icon and hold it to drag the Viewer around the screen.
  • To resize a Viewer, hover the mouse cursor over one of its corners or sides. Left-click when you see the  (2-way arrow) icon and drag it to resize the Viewer horizontally and/ or vertically.


Undock/Dock Viewers

To undock a viewer and open it in a new browser window:

  1. Left-click on a viewer window top menu bar.
  2. Hold the mouse button down and drag the viewer to the right or left side of the screen until you see "Drag and drop to undock viewer in a new browser window". 
  3. The viewer will open in a separate window.
  4. Click on Undocked to bring the viewer back into the browser tab.
