After linking corresponding Procore and CupixWorks projects, you can:

  • Create new Procore tasks such as punch lists, RFIs, and observations, and attach markups from SiteView

  4. Continue filling out observation details, then click Update once you are done.

Set a New Default View in SiteView for Procore Tasks

When a Procore punch list, RFI, or observation is created in SiteView, a SiteView deep link is automatically generated and added to the Description field in Procore punch lists and observations, and to the Reference field in RFIs. Opening the deep link URL initializes with the exact view (including location, viewer direction, and FOV) displayed on the screen of the creator of the punch list, RFI, or observation when they generated the annotation in SiteView. This default view when users access the SiteView from Procore can be changed if a better initial view is found.

To set a new default view that is displayed when users click on a SiteView deep link in Procore:

  1. From the annotations menu on the left, click the name of the annotation group, then the name of the Procore task you would like to change the default view for.
  2. While the task is selected in SiteView, navigate to the pano where you would like for the deep link in Procore to open up at.
  3. Click and drag the pano viewer and zoom in on the exact view you want users coming from Procore to see when they access SiteView from the Procore task.
  4. From the left menu, click Save View to set the new default view.

The deep link will automatically be updated in the Procore task. If the default view has been moved to a different pano, the Procore task will also be pinned to its new location.

Access SiteView from Procore Task

After a Procore task is created from within SiteView, a SiteView deep link is automatically generated and added to the description or reference field. By opening the deep link URL, you can access the exact date, location, and view of the SiteView where the task was generated to see the associated spatial context.

Open SiteView from Punch List

To open SiteView from a Procore punch list:

  1. Within Procore, navigate to and open the punch list of interest.
  2. From the Description field, copy the deep link URL and open it to see the selected SiteView space that corresponds to the Procore punch list.

Open SiteView from RFI

To open SiteView from a Procore RFI:

  1. Within Procore, navigate to and open the RFI of interest.
  2. From the Reference field, copy the deep link URL and open it to see the selected SiteView space that corresponds to the Procore RFI.

Open SiteView from Observation

To open SiteView from a Procore observation:

  1. Within Procore, navigate to and open the observation of interest.
  2. From the Description field, click on the deep link URL and sign in to CupixWorks to see the selected SiteView space that corresponds to the Procore observation.

Add Markups to Procore Tasks from SiteView

Markups are screenshots of the digital twin that have been annotated using built-in drawing tools that allow users to add text, arrows, and shapes to the image. Markups are a great way to clarify Procore tasks and annotations created in SiteView. You can add markups to Procore tasks in SiteView. These markups are also automatically added to and viewable from within Procore for punch lists and RFIs. However, markups added to RFIs are only viewable in SiteView.
To add markups to a Procore task from SiteView:

  1. From the annotations menu on the left, click the name of the annotation group, then click the Procore annotation you are interested in adding a markup to.
  2. When the Procore task is selected, from the left menu click More > Attach > Markup.
  3. Enter the name of the new markup, then click Next.
  4. SiteView automatically screenshots the view in the digital twin display window and provides a palette of tools for you to mark up the image.
  5. Once you are finished editing the image, click Save in the upper right, and the markup will automatically be added to the task in SiteView.
If the Procore task is a punch list or observation, the markup will also be available in Procore.

Note: Each markup created in SiteView generates two JPEG files within Procore. One file is the screenshot of the digital twin without additional edits, and the second file contains the marked-up image.

Open a Task in Procore from SiteView

Similar to how you can access SiteView from a Procore task, you can open a Procore punch list, RFI, or observation in Procore from SiteView.
To open a task in Procore from SiteView:

  1. From the annotations menu on the left, click the group name then the Procore task you are interested in.
  2. When the Procore task is selected, click Open in Procore.
  3. Procore will open in a new tab and display the task.

View Markups in Procore

Markups are screenshots of the digital twin that have been annotated using built-in drawing tools such as text, arrows, and shapes. Markups are a great way to clarify tasks and annotations in SiteView. You can add markups from SiteView that are attached to a Procore task as JPEG attachments. These markups are also viewable from within Procore for punch lists and observations.

Note: Markups attached to RFIs are not viewable in Procore at this time.

To view SiteView markups added to a Procore task within Procore:

  1. Navigate to and open the observation or punch list in Procore.
  2. Under attachments, click on the file name to view the markup.
Note: Each markup created in SiteView generates two files within Procore. One file is the screenshot of the digital twin without additional edits, and the second file contains the marked-up image.

Delete Procore Tasks from SiteView

Users can delete Procore punch lists, RFIs, and observations from SiteView without removing them from Procore.

To delete a Procore task in SiteView:

  1. From the annotations menu on the left, click the group name that contains the Procore task you want to delete.
  2. Click the name of the Procore task > More > Remove from SiteView > Delete.
Note: Removing a Procore task from SiteView does not remove the SiteView deep link from the task in Procore.
Note: Removing a Procore task within Procore does not remove the corresponding task from SiteView. However, this task can no longer be opened within Procore.
