Capture New Area

Capture New Area

To capture a new area, make sure you have selected the correct project, level, and reference plan.

You may need to download a new project template or switch to a different project, level, or reference plan before beginning a new capture.

Capture a New Area

To begin capturing a new area:

  1. Go to the capture menu by tapping the Capture icon in the bottom left.
  2. From the  capture menu, tap Capture New Area.
  3. Select your shooting method from the available options:
    • Use Cluster Shot to take multiple 360° photos of an area - this is recommended for creating high quality digital twins.
    • Use Video to record 360° footage - this is recommended for quickly capturing an area.
    • Use Single-Shot to take just one 360° photo - this is recommended for simplicity.
  4. After selecting the shooting mode, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your capture.
  5. Once you are finished with your capture, hold and drag up the bottom menu and tap End > Go Back to Capture Home.
Note: You have the option to resume cluster shot capture at a later time.
