Create a Workspace and Project
Projects are folders structured to store building information, such as captures, reference plans, SiteViews, and BIM. Workspaces hold multiple projects for an organization.
NOTE: Once you create a Project inside a Workspace, you cannot move it to another Workspace.
Create a Workspace
A Workspace is used to organize projects within your organization, allowing users to logically apply appropriate security.
To create a workspace:
- Go to CupixWorks Home by clicking Home on the left menu.
- Click the New Workspace button.
- Enter a workspace name.
- Click Done to finish creating a new workspace.
Create a Project
A project holds building information like the address, floors, reference plans, BIM and 3D models, captures, and SiteViews. You'll need a project to begin creating captures and SiteViews and CupixWorks.
To create a project:
- Go to CupixWorks Home by clicking Home on the left menu.
- Double click the name of the workspace you'd like to add a project to and click New Project.
- Enter a project name, project number, building address, and building size.
- Click the Done button to finish creating a new project.
You will be automatically redirected to the CupixWorks Project Center of your newly created project.
