Introduction
CupixWorks provides role-based access controls to manage who can view and modify your project data.
Access Hierarchy
- Team Admins can invite Team Admins, Workspace Admins, and Project Admins, and can create projects in all workspaces
- Workspace Admins can invite Workspace Admins and Project Admins, and can create projects in their workspaces
- Project Admins can invite Project Admins, Project Members, SiteView Members, and SiteView Observers
- Other roles (Project Member, SiteView Member, SiteView Observer) require an Admin to invite them
Groups
Groups inherit the access level assigned to them in a project. For details on configuring group access, see the Manage Access article.
User Roles Overview
CupixWorks defines six user roles with varying levels of access:
| Role | Scope | Primary Use Case |
|---|---|---|
Team Admin |
All workspaces and projects within team | Team-level administration and oversight |
Workspace Admin |
All projects within assigned workspaces | Workspace-level administration |
Project Admin |
Single project | Full project management and configuration |
Project Member |
Single project | Active project participation with capture and analysis access |
SiteView Member |
Specific SiteViews only | Limited access for documentation and collaboration |
SiteView Observer |
Specific SiteViews only | View-only access for stakeholders and reviewers |
Note: Team Admins and Workspace Admins have the same feature access as Project Admins within their scope, but with broader administrative capabilities across multiple workspaces or the entire team.
